The longgrayline.org was created by the West Point Class of '81 to develop ideas and fund projects focused on supporting Cadet activities.  Through the efforts featured on this site, the Class seeks to develop an understanding and consensus on what may lead to a Class Gift to West Point for today's Cadets.

In 2014 the Class of '81 developed the Friends of the Corbin Forum website with the intent to promote and organize a Leadership Workshop. This event was held in Boston in November 2014. Members of the Class organized the event and provided financial support. Members of the Class also participated in the Workshop as discussion leaders and mentors.

Through strengthasone.com the Class of '81 has set a goal of raising $2.500,000 by 2021 for our 40 Year Class Gift to West Point. The projects supported through this site are distinct and separate from the current Class Gift funding efforts. Donations from other graduating classes and non-graduates are welcome. All funds are remitted to AOG. The first project selected for support by thelonggrayline.org was developed with the History Department.

The Long Gray Line is focused on preparing a new generation of leaders for the Army of the future.
